Wai! Wai! Impmon da yo! Welcome to the area of the site that's specifically Impmon/Beelzebumon! It's true that the entire site is a shrine to our favorite digimon, but we allow another digimon here as well! Why choose Impmon, of all available digimon, to make a shrine to? Why not? He's adorable in a rude, obnoxious way. He's full of tricks and pranks, always good for a laugh. Unless, of course, you're one of the people he's playing a trick or prank on. Most of all, however, he's really just someone who has a hard time catching a break. Used, abused, and neglected, Impmon tries to get by without any human to help him and prove he has a right to live! How can you not like such a complex yet adorable digimon? Now for some facts about our favorite purple digimon! There will be some vague spoilers, so don't read if you don't want to be spoiled! Impmon is a virus. If you don't know what 'virus', 'data', and 'vaccine' mean when applying to Digimon, it basically means this. Virus digimon are mostly all power, such as Myotismon or Machinedramon. They also make some of the strongest enemies, such as Piedmon and Apocalymon. Vaccine digimon are the healing and defensive digimon. Many vaccine types, such as Seraphimon and Pidomon, come with healing moves. You could consider them the clerics and paladins of the Digital World. Data, on the other hand, is basically all around neutral. They can be powerful, they can be defensive. They're basically the middle-mon between vaccine and virus. They can make relatively good enemies (as Metal Seadramon was a data as well as a Dark Master) and relatively good allies. Of course, all of this information is based off of the Digimon World games and the shows. That's just the general outline and won't apply to every single digimon! Many of the Devas themselves were vaccines! Anyway... Impmon in the anime has four 'known' forms. One is his baby form Yaamon, which you only briefly see. His usual, Rookie form is the adorable Impmon. He, however, has two Megas: Beelzebumon, which is a corrupt form with red eyes instead of green, and Beelzebumon Blast Mode, which has the green eyes as well as big raven wings. Unlike all other digimon, Impmon never goes to either his Champion or Ultimate form. However, as we learned with the Skull Greymon disaster in Digimon Adventures 01, when you are not ready to digivolve, bad things happen... Impmon's so called Tamers (or DigiDestined if you go by the 01 and 02 terminology) are the twins Ai and Makoto. However, we personally despise them for how they treated Impmon. Toned down drastically in the dubbed version, Ai and Makoto actually hurt Impmon in their numerous quarrels. In the one scene where we first see Ai and Makoto, we see a flashback of Impmon in the middle of their fight. In the dub, Impmon is yanked back and forth before screaming 'knock it off'. In actuality, there was actually a red slash cutting through Impmon (to symbolize pain and tearing) followed by the cry of "ITAIIIIII!", which means "OWWWW!" in Japanese. Hence the shivering immediately afterwards. That about covers everything. However, once we get our scanner working, you'll see some lovely Impmon/Beelzebumon artbook pictures here! Never before seen!
